It had been a long and obnoxious day for Cat, and what better way to end it then a bomb dinner at Olive Garden. It had been weeks since she went out to eat any where, and even though she was sitting there all alone, it felt great to be treating herself with her own earned money. She was constantly doing odd jobs around the house for her aunt that involved money in her hand at the end. They weren't hard and it allowed her to have the money for what she wanted, and her aunt got what she wanted done. So it really was a win win situation.
The waiter came up to the table. He was a young guy, not bad looking, but at least 25. He had shaggy chestnut hair and bright blue eyes. Adorable, absolutely! "What can I get for you?" His voice was soft, but he had a beautiful shy smile that went along with it.
"I'm hoping for something sweet....chocolate... what about just like a chocolate shake?" Cat smiled up at him and did a flirty blink. She couldn't help it.
"Got it. I'll be back with your shake." He smiled again and slowly strutted off to the next table. He did not look pleased to be working at all but it happens. Cat understood his hate to be there.
Sitting alone Cat had a hopeful feeling that someone would be brave enough to come and talk to her. Not all people were scary, and if she saw someone sitting alone she would walk up and introduce herself. Cat just feels that everyone needs and deserves a friend by their side all the time, and you should never ignore someone.
The waiter brought her shake, and then continued on with his job. Cat sat there and slowly slurped away at it. It was pretty good, and very chocolatey. Just the way it should be.

not really in the mood to cook dinner for himself, or his daughtger, Jasper thought that maybe it would just be a better idea to go out for dinner for once. Antoinette would like to go out for once for dinner, right? she was only a year old, so she didn't do a whole lot, but at least she was saying 'dadda' which was a huge thing for her. his daughter was his whole world. she was so small still, and doctors were slightly worried because she wasn't nearly as big as she was suppose to be, and she wasn't doing as well as other children. he hoped his daughter was okay, an that there wasn't something wrong with her, he loved her to much to let her die on him. she was a sweet little girl, who at only a year old was already a handful. she would sit there and scream, a lot. though she didn't do anything that he didn't do when he was that age.
jasper was the quieter moretti child, but it wasn't like he cared. he liked being the quieter one, because his parents didn't really care to much about what he did, or didn't do. he was the one that they didn't have to worry about. it was always about his sister. but he didn't care that much. at least, he didn't until he told them he knocked a girl up. they were pissed that he did that, but they were at least proud he was going to help her. though, when he came out as gay, they were extremely confused. he wanted them to know that he was never going to have more children, because he didn't want anymore then his daughter. of course, his daughter was sick, almost always. she had a horrible immune system, and she had been in the hospital a few times. she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a disease that made her not be able to breath well, and it had it where every few months she had to be in the hospital to clear the mucus out o her lungs. she was only a year old, but she had already been there once for it.
his daughter was his whole world, and he knew she wouldn't make it to forty, but for now, that was alright. she was still to small to really know, and he kept what was wrong with Antoinette to himself and her doctors. no one needed to know what was wrong with her. no one asked. so, putting his daughter into a very pretty pink dress and shoes to match, they left for dinner. they walked a bit before they reached olive garden. might as well right? it was family orientated so it seemed to be okay.
walking in, he got a table and as they walked he saw Cat. they where pretty good friends, so he just said he'd sit with her to the hostess and smiled. he tapped her shoulder and smiled. "what'cha doing, cat? he asked, smiling at hher. she had no real idea the boy was actually gay, but then again no really did. he didn't tell many people. "Can we sit with you?" he said. Antoinette smiled at her a bit, with only two teeth, she was the cutest little thing ever. she waved a bit, but since she didn't talk, she didn't say anything. jasper looked at the baby in his arms and smiled. "antoinette says hello."

Cat sat there enjoying her Shake, observing all the people. Before long she felt a tap on her shoulder and Jasper stood there with his baby girl Antoinette. Finally some company, she thought quietly to herself. She was happy to see someone she actually knew and enjoyed being around. Cat had become pretty good friends with Jasper lately and adored his daughter just as much as she did him.
"Go ahead and sit down, I promise my claws are put away!" Cat smiled up at him with a giggle. "What are you two up to? Just roaming?" Cat was hoping for a continued hang out, she was feeling lonely and in need of just a good movie night or something. It could be fun, and then she could spend more time with little Antoinette. She truly loves the little girl.
Cat played with the straw in her shake, she really was pretty much done with it. Any time she went out she usually only ever ate about a quarter of whatever it was she ordered. It was a self-conscious thing, just a habit. One she also hated because it always left her still hungry. It happens though, everyone has their strange qualities.

smiling at her, jasper shifted antoinette in his arms. he liked clairabelle enough, at least, for a girl he liked her. jasper wasn't exactly one of the easiest people to get along with, but he got along with more girls then guys, but that was probably just because he could be extremely feminine at times. it wasn't like he meant to, it just happened. all gay guys did that though, right? he didn't know, he didn't much care though. it wasn't like it mattered to much anyway. so he was a bit different from another gay guy cause he had times where he was just as girly and gay as the stereotypical gay guy, or he could come off of as a completely straight guy who just had a girl leave the baby with him.
sliding into a chair across the table from her, he put Antoinette on his lap and smiled at her. "like you'd use claws i'm me." he said, kissing the top of his daughter's head. she sat on his lap, staring at Cat. Antoinette never did much, so it sort of scares him a bit, because she never talks, never does anything but sits around the apartment and is almost always sick. "i didn't want to make dinner, so here we are." he said, softly.
antoinette stared at cat, before reaching her small little arms out, trying to get to the shake. Jasper stared at her and put his hands on her arms. "no, antoinette. not yours." he said, pulling his daughter closer to his chest and wrapped his arms around her.

Cat smiled at Antionette's eagerness for the shake, "You can give it to her if it's alright with you, I was pretty much done with it anyways. It was good at first but you can only take so much of one thing." Cat was always wanting change, never did she want anything to ever be the same again and again. It just was the way she thought of living your life to the fullest. In her eyes everything was supposed to be a mystery waiting to be solved. Even though she had her ups and downs, and her every day desire to be away from the house, each second was a new adventure in the end. Cat looked down at her stomach, "Plus she could probably use it more then I can." Cat was always referring to herself as fat even though she was far from it. Her mom had given her a very low self-esteem when she was growing up. She can remember being told, "You look fat in that, go change. I won't have a pig as my daughter." At first she just thought it was because it was a bad outfit choice but the rude comments came no matter what she did. That was just her mom though, a jerk in general. If she wasn't in a good mood, better believe nobody else was going to be in one. Cat looked over at Jasper and smiled. She was glad to be getting close to him, she just didn't want her feelings to go to far. Sometimes things just happen, but her heart truly felt for both him and baby girl Antionette. She couldn't imagine life without both of them lately. Always putting a smile on her face. Since finding out about her brothers death not to long ago, nothing made her happy anymore really. She was a wreck most of the time as long as no one was looking at her of course. Public breakdowns didn't happen to often with her, unless a sensitive spot on her brother was hit. Then all the walls came tumbling down to the ground. "Do you have any plans for the night?" Cat shot him a hopeful look. She needed company for the night, someone to free her mind of horrible thoughts that could possibly float through. She was tired of being depressed. It just wasn't her normal bubbly outgoing self. She needed to be happy, to find her happy place.

jasper liked cat enough, she was a total sweetheart to him, and she seemed to like antoinette, so it was all good that he had a friend that liked his daughter and all. he shook his head, antoinette didn't need the shake. "no it's okay. she's just being greedy." he said, smiling at his daughter. he kissed the little baby's head and she looked up at him, smiled a little before reaching to play with the silverware on the table. he took the knife and pushed it closer to cat, and away from antoinette. "no knives." he said softly to the baby. he looked at cat and leaned around the table, looking confused. "you look awfully skinny to me... drink the shake." he said, smiling at her.
he wasn't trying to be mean, but it probably came out that way. she was skinny, and being the really stereotypical gay guy that he could be, he smirked a bit. "love, you need to eat more, or no guys are gonna like a stick" he said, in his really gay voice. he almost never talked like that, only if he was kidding around.
he smiled at her when she looked at him and shifted his daughter in his lap. his daughter was about all he had now that Juliet left [not that he liked her much anyway, all he did was knock her up and then come out as gay] and he left Jarrod. his missed his ex boyfriend, and he was sure that he'd never see Jarrod again. whatever. that didn't matter much anymore, he needed to get his head out of the past and look forward, but it was hard when he missed his ex so much. looking at her, he shrugged. "i had no real plans to be honest, i know at seven thirty, antoinette has to go to bed. my life isn't exactly entertaining. so i don't do a whole lot.." he said. it was true, he never did anything anymore.
his life was much more fun when jarrod was around, before antoinette. he could smoke all he wanted, hang out with jarrod, go out to the movies and not watch the movie, or go on dates with his ex boyfriend. he missed that a lot. he wanted his boyfriend back, but he didn't see that happening anytime soon, or at all. now his life was boring, and all worry about antoinette, who was almost always sick. he wanted his life back, but he wanted to keep antoinette too. it was a mess.

" I really don't need the shake." Cat shook her head looking at Jasper and watching little Antionette play with the silverware laid out on the table. She was cute with every move she made, absolutely adorable. Cat was sometimes jealous of parents, they had unconditional love. A child could grow to hate their parents but deep down that love is always there, and she knew that. She looked at Jasper and let out an awful laugh when he said she was too "skinny" in her head that didn't exist. "You can't be to skinny, but you can be to fat. Which I am neither I suppose." Cat took a sip of the shake. "Happy?" She joked. Cat was a little sassy at times, but it was to be expected with her.
"What if a wanna be a stick??" She smirked at the way he put things. Though she knew he was telling the truth, she was a little on the skinny side. It happened to her every now and then though. She gained weight just as quick as she lost it though. Back and forth all the time. It was just a thing with Cat.
Cat was looking at him, watching him think. She could tell that is what he was doing. It was obvious to her. "Well, lets go back to my house and watch a movie or something. It could be relaxing and fun for all of us." Cat shifted in her chair, offering ideas always made her feel a little awkward for some reason. "My aunt will probably be out so she won't bother you with a million questions."
Cat just wanted to have fun, she was tired of feeling so sad all the time. She really wanted her brother back. He was her heart, and just like that he was gone. With out him to talk to all the time she felt lost inside. A broken person. Jasper was starting to help her feel more, at one with herself. Which in her mind, she felt that could be bad. Even if it meant her happiness was being brought back, was it worth her growing stronger feelings that she had set herself up for? She just didn't know. It was a never ending battle with herself and honestly she hated it.
