So he found Izzy, Ryan did. Thank god for chat rooms, but she was acting a bit funny though he found her location. That's where he was headed. Ryan threw on some blue van sneakers and got the stroller out of his closet.
After he put the stroller in the living room, Ryan went to go wake the sleepy Katie who wasn't very happy when her afternoon nap was interpreted as Ryan gently picked her up out of her crib and carried her into the living room. Setting her down on the couch. She was dressed, just no shoes, so Ryan did the simple thing. Put Katie's sandals on her and buckle them. It was way easier then messing with socks and small laces.
Not once did the quiet two year old question what he was doing. Just sitting there watching Sesame Street since channel nine had been left on since the morning. It's what Katie watched at eight AM or would have a fit. Meanwhile, Ryan had filled one of Katie's sippy cup with apple juice in the kitchen, she only had three so far. Cause he was still trying to get her use to those sippy cups and stop using the bottles.
Handing Katie the sippy cup, Ryan helped her off the couch before he grabbed the keys and the folded up stroller. With his free left hand, he held Katie's hand as he left the apartment. Locking the door and putting the keys in his pocket. Once again, taking the stairs slow with Katie.
At the bottom, Ryan unfolded the stroller and placed Katie in it which he soon strapped her in the stroller. But Katie still hung onto the sippy cup. "Park!" The two year old said happily though Ryan answered that with a soft voice. "Sorry sweetie, we're going to go see someone." He hated it- he hated denying his daughter something, but it was life. He also only called her and Izzy 'sweetie'.
After the little bit more then an hour walk, and ten to fifteen blocks, Ryan finally got to St.Valentines as he pushed the stroller towards the grounds. Katie though, was looking around with curious gray eyes as she sipped at her juice in the sippy cup with the thought of not going to the park almost forgoten.
Once on the grounds, Ryan, who was wearing a black tank-top, sunglasses and normal jeans. Not to mention the blue van sneakers, sat down on one of the benches with the stroller next to him. Katie had fallen silent from her squeals and giggles of excitement and now was just looking around.

she was dreading this day. and she honestly didn't see it coming. she thought she was doing a good thing, leaving ryan, not telling him what happened. this way he couldn't be hurt, right?but foolishly, she had talked with him in online and let slip her location. she didn't know why she did. maybe it was just the joy of seeing him again. because the girl honestly missed him so much. she just knew he would blow up if he knew. but he was bound to, now that she knew he was living in bellevue. one walk into town and she could bump into him. it was best she could explain in person. or maybe...she didn't have to? well that was stupid, since it was obvious she was pregnant, with her bump now growing healthily.
it annoyed her, as she had put on weight. of course it was ot be expected. and she was glad she was doing well during her pregnancy, her baby was healthy, according to the scans. she was excited yet terrified at the same time. she had no clue about babies, hence why she was her in the first place. but even in a place like this did not settle her fears of screwing up, some way. she already screwed up someone's lie, who was to say she wouldn't do the same for her baby? she was going to give this motherhood a shot, but right now, her mind was on ryan.
and how she was going to explain this to him exactly. there would be alot of questions before she even began, as she pulled a dress over her swollen stomach and her cardigan, as it was a little chilly outside. she was nervous, but it had to be done, as she had already agreed to meet him. her head was swarming with what he would say. would he be disgusted? would he think the baby was his? she rubbed her forehead, she didn;'t need this , not right at the need of her pregnancy. she was already feeling so exhausted and uncomfortable as it was. but the art after this was what she was dreading.
as izzy left her room, her thoughts went back to what ryan was talking about. he mentioned a girl's name, Katie. who was she? from the sounds of it, it was as if he was talking about a child? his child? everything was just too crazy at the moment, maybe things would be a while lot easier if when they met in person. she wandered outside into the light breeze, her eyes stopping on that familiar face and with a stroller. she raised a brow as she hesitantly wandered over, to just standing before him. without thinking, she smiled as she saw his face. oh how she missed his smile, his everything. taking a breath, she could barely make eye contact. "ryan" she spoke quietly, her hand resting on her bump before eying one of the benches. "maybe we should sit..and catch up and i'll explain everything?" she managed to get out, though her eyes could not met his. her eyes briefly went to the kid in the stroller, she smiled at the toddler briefly. this was a messy situation indeed.

Ryan with his old smile glued to his face as he saw Izzy walking towards her. It was obvious to him that she was pregnant, but at the moment, he didn't care who the father was. Ryan was just happy to see her.
As she spoke, Ryan listened carefully. Nodding at her question, he had an instant reaction to hug her, but since she was avoiding his eye contact, Ryan thought it'd be best not too. "Do you want to sit out here on the bench or go inside?" He asked, since Katie soon went back to her nap moments before, so Ryan decided not to introduce her yet.
Not even waiting for an answer yet, he stood up from the bench quickly and easily pulled her into a hug. It was his reactions, and Ryan usually followed them. He always thought before speaking or acting, but he was also brutally honest which wasn't a good thing really because he easily offended people because of that. Though he was easy to forgive, who knew what was going to happen.
Letting go of Izzy, freeing her from the hug, Ryan entwined his fingers with hers as he held her hand. Swinging their arms a little bit as she spoke or listened to her speak. If they were going inside, then Ryan would pull the stroller from where it sat gently enough not to wake up Katie but he'd have to let go of Izzy's hand to move the stroller. If not, then they'd just stand there. Arms swinging gently as he would wait for her to stake a seat.
It mostly remained quiet, besides the small breeze rustling the trees with it's before-a-storm smell which was rather comforting for travelers or visitors that were a long way from their own home. But he knew no one besides the people he worked with at the diner, his daughter and Izabella, his fiance. Who Ryan was determined to stay loyal to the relationship. So far, he could.
Another noise that broke the silence was the small quiet talk of the people around them and the small but a bit noisy, sound of Katie breathing. To Ryan, it was sort of like snoring, but not loud, just a bit noisy and that was it. Sort of like a dog running in it's sleep, or something like that. He found it cute, just like his coworkers did too.
Now back to explaining, Ryan would just tell her everything that happened while she disappeared but for Izzy, he knew she'd probably be slower at explaining then he was. But everyone was different and he didn't mind that since strangers viewed him as a freak or something like that most of the time.

izabella didn;t know what to think when she saw him again. she had no idea what was going through his head when she saw her. all she saw was him smiling.....something she didn't expect. she half expected him to gasp in shock and confusion, as well this was just an odd situation in itself. well it did settle alot of questions, as this was the main reason why she ahd been missing, though there was alot more to it than hat. though she really didn't want to explain, it could end up breaking his heart. and she didn't want that.
she would be lying if she said that didn't miss him. because she did, so much. just seeing him again made her all too happy. even if she probably didn't deserve to see his face again. "sitting out here's fine" she nodded about to sit when he dragged her into a hug. a short gasp of air escaped her lips, as it was sudden and not expected, but oh how she had missed his touch. she could say in his arms forever. all too soon they broke free, and he held her hand. "i've missed you" she spoke quietly, as she took a spot on the bench, shifting her dress behind her
now, was the difficult part. she had to say something. she had to explain, he did too, as he eyed the child in the stroller. "so um, i should really explain should I?" her eyes wet to him, as her free rested on her stomach. "i...didn't want to leave you ryan, but i had to." she shook her head slightly. "i don't want to hurt you...i really don't. i don't expect you to forgive me, i wasn't thinking, i..." tears started to form in her eyes. the words wouldn't come out as she held her head in hands.

Ryan sat right down next to her as she took a seat on the bench. That was after listening to Izzy's answer. As their eyes met again, she asked him a question before nearly stumbling with her words. "It's alright, just please don't start crying. There is no need for that, whatever explanation. I promise I won't get angry" Ryan quickly told her in a hush voice as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulling her closer just for comfort.
"I'll explain first." He said simply, before continuing. "A month before I began dating you, I had a girlfriend before you that dumped me after she had used me. Two years ago actually, and well, last month a week after I turned nineteen, she came out of her hiding at the airport and almost literally threw Katie at me before just leaving and disappearing so; long story short, I traveled when I was younger at age four by myself on the streets so I never really grew up knowing my parents and I didn't want that to happen to Katie. Which is the reason Katie has been with me, and with that, I think you can tell who's in the stroller" He explained slow enough for her to understand and he hoped she did.
Then Ryan waited for Izzy's explanation with his arm still wrapped around her shoulder. Whatever the explanation was, he promised her he wouldn't get angry and he was going to keep that promise since he usually kept his promises. It might depress him, but there was a ninety five percent chance that he'd forgive her. Katie though, was completely ignoring them as she sipped at the juice in her cup while looking around at everything rather sleepily. Since she didn't take well to napping in a stroller, so when she was in a stroller, she didn't sleep long. No more then five minutes at least.
